Academics is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a fantastic SEN school in East Grinstead. This role is perfect for a compassionate and proactive individual who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
You will be assigned to support up to three children in either a 1:1 or 2:1 setting, ensuring personalised learning and care.
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and adapting materials to meet students' needs.
Support students' emotional and social development, helping them to build confidence and independence.

Requirements:

Experience working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential).
A caring, patient, and resilient approach to supporting students with complex needs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (the school is not easily accessible by public transport).
