Purpose:
As part of our ongoing investment in our UK-based resource pool, we are seeking an individual to assist with project planning, development, and delivery activities. The role focuses on delivering settlement tank scrapers, chemical dosing systems, and other products, as well as supporting larger contracts occasionally. The primary projects will be within the Severn Trent Water and Anglian Water regions, with additional support in other regions as needed.

Suitability:
The ideal candidate will be flexible, enthusiastic, and have a background in the water industry. A self-motivated individual with strong communication skills who is comfortable working in a small business environment would excel in this role.

Location:
Home-based within the target region, with options for hybrid working. The role requires local and some nationwide travel, along with occasional visits to our headquarters in Ireland.

Duties & Responsibilities:

General Duties: Assist Project Managers in delivering water and wastewater treatment projects on time and within budget, coordinate with site and office-based personnel, conduct site visits, and maintain effective communication with client site teams.

Project Planning & Communications: Prepare necessary health, safety, quality, and environmental documents, plan project timelines from contract award to completion, organize technical meetings, and ensure all project documentation is current and properly filed.

Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ): Enforce safe work practices, report any incidents, liaise with safety officers during inspections, and ensure compliance with design specifications and corrective actions for non-conformances.

Financial Management: Coordinate financial aspects with the project manager, manage purchasing and acquisition of project components, handle invoicing and debt retrieval, and maintain accurate financial records in the internal company system.

Other Responsibilities: Attend team meetings, assist with managing the regional office, maintain customer relationships, produce case studies of completed projects, and perform other related duties as needed.

Key Skills & Experience:

* Degree in engineering or science, HND, or equivalent.

* At least three years’ experience in project or delivery management within the utilities sector or M&E engineering environment.

* Experience in the UK water industry is advantageous.

* Ability to manage multiple projects or initiatives simultaneously.

* Advanced proficiency in MS Office and strong data analysis skills.

* Excellent report writing and communication skills.

* Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

* Willingness to travel nationwide (including overnight stays) and to Ireland as required.

* Full driving license (any endorsements must be declared in the application).
