We have an exciting position available for a Facilities and Environmental Manager to join us!

The overall purpose of the role is to work collaboratively in partnership with the other managers across the organisation to understand and deliver the key business priorities, objectives and performance indicators within the Customer function for caretaking, mobile cleaning, grounds maintenance, facility management.

To be One Manchester’s operational and strategic lead for the provision of services for facility and grounds management to all One Manchester properties or buildings as defined by the Director of Customers.

What we’re looking for:

Significant experience of running an efficient customer facing social housing service with high customer service levels.

*

Significant experience of customer, contractor and stakeholder engagement and management

*

Thorough understanding of all legislation relating to Facility, commercial cleaning activities, building management and Grounds Maintenance including matters cover all aspects of Health & Safety relevant to the services delivered

*

Experience of working collaboratively building successful working relationships with all key stakeholders and partners to achieve community and neighbourhood regeneration

*

Extensive experience of developing and implementing successful Customer Involvement Strategies to ensure high levels of customer involvement.

*

Experience of providing high-quality, responsive and value-for-money facilities, environmental and related services.

*

Strong IT literacy
