A small, unique housing association based in Central London, is seeking an experienced finance professional to join their team in a strategic leadership role. As a socially-conscious organisation committed to providing quality housing solutions, they are looking for someone to drive financial excellence and support their mission.

The Role

Lead the delivery of comprehensive financial services, including treasury management, business partnering, development accounting, and capital accounting
Spearhead financial strategy development, including regular reviews of the business model and identification of funding options
Oversee leasehold management from a financial perspective, ensuring compliance with lease obligations and managing relationships with freeholders
Drive business improvement through insightful financial reporting and analysis, using tools like Power BI to develop performance reports
Ensure regulatory compliance and manage key stakeholder relationships, including with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies
Supervise, mentor, and inspire staff, driving high standards of performance and professional development. The Successful Candidate

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CIPFA) with varied experience
Experience working in small companies, preferrably housing association related 
Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively
Fantastic inter personally, being able to liaise with senior and junior stakeholders with ease.

Salary range of circa £64,000
Flexible and hybrid working arrangements, with an average of 2.5 days per week in the office - Central London
