Job Title:Working Supervisor

Thorn Baker's Multiple Award-Winning client's subsidiaryhas an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor to join their Warrington office. As a Supervisor, you will work on a rotating shift pattern supervising a production team within a specific area in a timber frame manufacturing facility. These areas include an automated cutting department, automated and manual production lines, product wrapping, and dispatch and you will oversee one of these areas whilst maintaining the highest level of safety, environmental and product quality standards

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for competently supervising a specific area of the production process on your shift, ensuring product quality and productivity is maintained at the agreed set levels.
You will ensure all health, safety and environmental policies are adhered to and applied consistently, including carrying out various checks and recording all data associated with them.
You will work collaboratively with the opposite shift, ensuring that both shifts work as one whole team to achieve shared goals and targets.

Required Skills:

You will have proven experience in a similar role
You will have a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes
You will have a thorough understanding of Health and Safety
You will need to have excellent leadership and communication skills
A strong general awareness of Health & Safety, manufacturing, production, transportation, construction, and on-site installation
KEY SKILLS: supervisor, offsite, timber frame, housebuilding, manufacturing
