About the Company

This organisation has established itself as a global leader through an innovative and flexible approach that has driven consistent growth and expansion into key markets across the UK, Europe, Australia, USA and China. The company has reinforced its commitment to long-term, sustainable success, making it an exciting time to join the leadership team.

With a substantial annual turnover and a solid profit margin, the company continues to expand its market share through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Its two main divisions are integral to this success: one focuses on manufacturing and distributing high-quality pest control products, while the other specializes in the assembly and distribution of technologically advanced pest control equipment. Both divisions have a strong presence in key global markets, including the UK, Europe, the USA, Australia and China.

The Role

As the UK Managing Director, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of both divisions, ensuring that they achieve sustainable growth in sales and profitability. This is a high-impact role that requires a dual focus: transforming one division to enhance operational effectiveness and customer service while nurturing and expanding the established teams within the other division to maintain its market-leading position.

For the first division, your priority will be to drive operational effectiveness by streamlining processes, systems, and leadership structures, thereby enhancing profitability, supply chain efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This division requires a leader who can identify and implement process improvements that will drive immediate and long-term success.
In the second division, your focus will be on nurturing and engaging with key management to ensure continued commercial success. You will be expected to maintain well-controlled processes that guide the teams through change, fostering a culture of innovation and agility that allows the business to quickly adapt to market dynamics and seize new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Lead UK operations, driving growth and profitability across both divisions while ensuring alignment with the company's global strategic objectives.
Operational Management: Conduct a thorough review of the first division's business operations to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
Budget Management: Work closely with the Group Managing Director and Financial Director to set and deliver on sales and expense budgets.
Stakeholder Representation: Act as the primary representative for both divisions, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Supplier Relations: Establish and nurture relationships with key suppliers to integrate them into the business’s strategic objectives.
Product Development: Identify and introduce new products that align with customer needs and contribute to the company’s profitability.
Team Leadership: Motivate and manage senior management teams, ensuring that both divisions are aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of quality across all operations, ensuring the company’s reputation for excellence is maintained.
Legal Compliance: Ensure that all operations meet relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Health & Safety: Oversee health and safety standards, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess 10+ years of experience in senior management, with a proven track record of driving growth and profitability within a manufacturing and distribution environment. You should have strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and inspire senior management teams, and a hands-on approach that ensures both strategic goals and operational efficiencies are achieved.

You will be a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, capable of making sound decisions that balance immediate operational needs with long-term growth objectives. Your leadership style should be people-centric, fostering a positive and productive work culture that drives team engagement and performance.
