Head of Care required in Emsworth!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Care to join a mediun sized dementia residential home based in Emsworth on a permanent full time contract.

As the Head of Care, your role involves assisting the Registered and Deputy Managers in ensuring the smooth running of the home. You will be responsible for the well-being and safety of our residents, help to maintain accurate and complete documentation by the staff, monitor residents for any health changes, and ensure proper adherence to medication administration procedures.

£15ph with pay potentially increasing after probation
Day shifts
Flexibility required
40 hours contracted per week

Requirements of the Head of Care Role:

* NVQ3 in Health & Social Care minimum

* Medication Administration Trained

* Previous experience working as a Senior Care / Team Leader

* Experience working with dementia residents

Responsibilities as a Head of Care:

* Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting

* Help manage the care team

* Ensure the smooth running of the floor

* Step up and manage the home in the managers and deputy's absence

* Assist with supervisions and appraisals

* Assist with medication, care plans, risk assessments, DoLs
