PFI Facilities Services Director
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled PFI Services Director to oversee key aspects of a Hard and Soft Facilities Management service contract.
The PFI Services Director will lead service delivery under Hard and Soft FM sub-contracts, working within contract terms and maximizing performance. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role requires attending Board meetings, representing the SPV in high-level discussions with the Client and FM Contractors, and deputising for the CEO when needed.
Summary:
Facilities Management contract
Salary: up to £85,000 (depending o experience) + £5,000 Car allowance + Generous pension 12.5% (non contrib ) + Bonus £10- £15k per annum + private medical etc..

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure Hard and Soft FM Contractors deliver all required services per contract standards.
Lead strategic planning for site and service development, adapting to contractual changes.
Assist the Finance Director on service-related issues impacting the Payment Mechanism.
Monitor and report on service delivery to confirm compliance with PFI contract availability and performance criteria.
Oversee Health and Safety compliance across Hard and Soft FM Contractors.
Foster proactive relationships with FM Contractors’ senior management to effectively resolve service-related issues.
Maintain effective collaboration with the Client’s Contract Management Team (CMT) to support seamless service provision.
Lead on Safety, Health, Environmental, and Fire (SHEF) issues, leveraging external resources as needed.
Chair meetings related to service and SHEF, preparing reports for compliance monitoring and the CEO.
Analyse and report on key data from FM Contractors to verify adherence to contract parameters.
Represent the SPV in operational-level management and service-related meetings.
Work closely with the onsite executive team to ensure services operate within the Project Agreement, Service Standards, Service Delivery Statements, and Payment Mechanism requirements.
Support the General Manager in cost-effective Lifecycle management to meet Project Agreement requirements, including Reactive Maintenance control measures.
Address any construction defect issues impacting service delivery in collaboration with the CEO and General Manager.
Act as Line Manager to the Services Manager, overseeing workload and performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
At least 5 years in a senior management role, such as Department Head, Director, or Senior Manager, with direct responsibility for PFI Hard and Soft FM services and demonstrated commercial awareness.
Knowledge of PFI operations and experience
Have worked as an SPV on large complex PFI contracts is desirable
Relevant professional qualifications or substantial industry knowledge would be advantageous.
Proven experience in business development, managing complex contracts, and engaging with senior stakeholders
