We urgently require Class 1 drivers for our client based out of Brackley

Excellent rates of pay + Bonuses

£19.00 - £20.00 per hour rotating shifts.

Introduction

Our client based in Brackley provides good quality fresh poultry and are currently looking for HGV1 drivers to work on their Livehaul operation.

A Fast-paced integrated business delivering innovative fresh and convenient food solutions for the UK retail & Food Service sectors.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will be to collect & deliver live loads. The shifts are Sunday to Thursday rotating start times. This effectively means for week 1 you would start no later than 16.00. Week 2 you move up the rota and start time respectively comes forward, for example 15.30 for week 2 and so on. When you find yourself first in the rota (normally approx. (06.00 start) then the following week you will return to 16.00 time and so on.

Requirements

Drivers must have a C+E licence, In date CPC and Tacho. Newly qualified C+E also welcome, full training will be given

Working with livestock experience desirable but not essential.

Duties Include

Transporting livestock

Planning route daily

Ability to do early morning and nights

Previous experience desirable

Ability to work as part of a team.

Benefits

Pay rate is £19.00 per hour plus an extra £0.50 per hour additional when on livehaul. Any hours worked on a Saturday or Sunday and any hours worked any day between 18.00 - 06.00 will attract a £1.25 per hour unsociable payment. You are guaranteed 50 hours per week and all breaks are paid.
