Electrical, Controls and Instrumental Technician

Do you have a HNC in an electrical/electronic engineering subject? Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a £multimillion organisation with overtime opportunities?
If successful you will be joining a large-scale company operating across the UK focussing on sustainable solutions including Energy Storage, Energy from Waste and Anaerobic Digestion with the mindset of constantly exploring new exciting technologies.
Within this role your responsibilities will be maintenance both PPM and Reactive of all EC&I assets Equipment will include general electrical equipment, pressure, flow and temperature sensors as well as control systems such as DCS and PLC's. You will be working alongside other technicians with both general maintenance and upgrades.
The ideal candidate for this role will have electrical or electronic engineering background qualified at least to HNC level. They will have existing knowledge about DCS and PLC systems. Experience in electrical maintenance from heavy process environments is key this could be in plants, steel works or power stations.
The Role
* Reactive and PPM Maintenance of EC&I assets
* Aid during shutdowns and plant outages
* Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the plant is upheld by minimising downtime
The Person
* Qualified in Electrical or electronic engineering at minimum HNC level
* Strong knowledge of DCS and PLC systems
* Experienced in electrical maintenance from a heavy process environment
