My client is currently looking to speak to candidates to take on the opportunity as a joiner for a full-time 6-month contract, with experience in general responsive repairs joinery work.

Your New Organisation
You will have a fantastic opportunity to work for a local authority in the repairs team specifically the responsive repairs team. An experience in general responsive repairs is essential in a housing environment.

Your New Opportunity
You will have the opportunity for a full-time temporary contract for an initial 6 months, for the right candidate there may be an opportunity for a permanent contract, but this would be reliant on business need.

Person
You will be an experienced joiner/shopfitter/bench-hand joiner you will be fully qualified, or time served with a proven track record.
Essential:

You will be a talented joiner.
Kitchens and bathrooms experience
Door’s experience
Skirting and floorboards
Responsive repairs – so an ability to problem solve and think on your feet.
Must have a good level of customer service to work with tenants.
You will have a full driving licence.
You will need the use of your own van – business mileage covered.
You will need your own tools. Likely job titles: joiner, bench hand joiner, carpenter, shopfitter, kitchen fitter, bathroom fitter
