Are you passionate about education and looking to make a difference in the lives of young learners? We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support primary schools in the S60 area of Rotherham.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
✅ Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons
✅ Providing one-to-one and small group support to students who need extra help
✅ Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
✅ Supporting children with additional needs, including SEN support where required
✅ Encouraging student participation and fostering a love for learning
✅ Preparing classroom resources and assisting with lesson planning
✅ Supervising children during break times and extra-curricular activities

What We’re Looking For:

We welcome applications from candidates with a variety of backgrounds. The ideal candidate will have:
✔️ Experience working with children (in a school setting is preferred but not essential)
✔️ A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach to supporting students
✔️ A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not required)
✔️ A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
✔️ A valid DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
✔️ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
