Vehicle Technician - Alnwick
£30,000 - £38,800 per year + overtime opportunity. Full-time. Monday to Friday.
Due to the growth and expansion of our client's workshop we currently have a vacancy for a Vehicle Technician at their family run car dealership. With responsibility for carrying out repairs and servicing of motor vehicles plus MOT testing this is a busy, challenging role. The successful applicant will be required to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of service, repair and warranty policies and must be able to use computerised diagnostic equipment and complete job cards in an accurate, efficient manner.
A full driving licence and an accredited qualification in vehicle repair and maintenance to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 is essential. Experience in a franchised dealer workshop would be an advantage but is not a requirement. Of more importance is your technical and practical knowledge of general vehicle maintenance and willingness to undertake further manufacturer training. You will also need to be able to work under pressure with excellent attention to detail and strong team working skills.
Pay plan based on skill set, individual performance and group achievement, this is a realistic opportunity to earn, overtime available also.
