Role of Support Worker

We have a Special educational college based in Bromley for young adults aged 19-25 with Complex learning needs and disabilities, including physical, communication & sensory impairments who are seeking Temp-perm support workers Monday – Friday 08.30– 16.00.

Responsibilities:

* Provide 1:1 support for students with their learning plans and activities.

* Assist in the implementation of communication strategies for students with complex needs.

* Help support students’ physical and emotional needs, including personal care.

* Work closely with tutors and therapists to ensure consistent progress for students.

* Support students during external activities and community-based learning.

Requirements:

* Previous experience working as an HCA or support worker, must have a minimum of

* Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting young people with special needs.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* 6months plus in healthcare industry.

* Effective communication & interception skills

* Must have a child & adult DBS on update service.
