Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Salary: £35k- £45k

Position Overview: They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to oversee thier production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing/production, with a proven track record of improving efficiency, ensuring quality, and leading a team to achieve ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production department, ensuring that production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and workflows to optimize efficiency and meet customer demands.
Monitor production performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement in productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
Lead, mentor, and develop the production team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, quality control, and logistics, to ensure seamless production processes.
Manage inventory levels to ensure that materials and supplies are available when needed, without overstocking.
Analyze production data and generate reports for senior management, identifying trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proven experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Strong understanding of production planning, quality control, and inventory management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in production management software and MS Office Suite
