A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Manager to join an Aerospace company in the North Devon area.

With no day ever being the same the Production Manager role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:

Manage and direct all manufacturing activities, assisting with Operational activities along side.
Managing KPI's, assessing performance and ensuring cost and quality targets are met.
Ensuring production is compliant and policies and procedures are kept up to date.
Driving continuous improvement of production, quality and overall performance.
Work on developing budgets and resource plans.
Looking at Environmental, Health, and Safety issues and ensuring all issues are addressed.
Ensuring customer manufacturing delivery times are met.
Working with design teams to ensure that the new production implementation phase is as smooth as possible.Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Experienced operational/production manager in a manufacturing environment.
Extensive knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts.
Proven experience of leading teams and working with cross functional departments.
Ideally experience working in the Aerospace industry.
Experience with all concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receivingSalary DOE
