JN Bentley has an opportunity for a MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Process) Engineer to lead the MEP function on our South West Water Tier 1 clean water, non-infrastructure framework.

As the framework lead, you will have the opportunity to shape the MEP function, ensuring mechanical, electrical and process is considered throughout the project, from concept design to commissioning. You will lead a team of mechanical, electrical and process engineers through the installation and commissioning phases of the project, ensuring innovative and efficient delivery of the project scope and delivering client satisfaction at handover. The projects include desalination, service reservoirs, pump stations, new water treatment facilities, and renovations to existing water treatment facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

* Developing the commissioning strategy, liaising with suppliers and facilitating contractor commissioning and assist the project team with project completions.

* Lead the team of mechanical, EICA and commissioning engineers to develop best practice, a strong health & safety environment and value for money, including mentoring graduates, apprentices, and trainees.

* Analysing and interpreting data to support a smooth commissioning process.

What we’d like from you:

* Proactive approach to resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.

* Experience of the design, installation & commissioning of electrical, mechanical and process assets.

* Experience of working to mechanical and/or electrical safe working procedures including producing and reviewing third party Risk Assessments & Method Statements.

* Full UK driving licence.
