EMBS Engineering is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering company in Nottingham, seeking a Skilled CMM Programmer to join their growing team on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities:

* Programming CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) using M-Cosmos or PCDMIS software

* Conducting first-piece inspection checks to validate part quality and specifications

* Supporting technical queries related to inspection and measurement processes

* Participating in problem-solving activities to improve processes and resolve quality issues

Essential Skills and Experience:

* Previous experience in precision engineering, preferably within sectors such as Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Defence, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, or Medical industries

* Proficient in CMM programming with M-Cosmos or PCDMIS software

* Experienced in visual and dimensional inspection of complex parts using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators

* Expertise in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

* Preferred experience with optical inspection systems

* Ability to interpret mechanical part and assembly drawings accurately

Additional Requirements:
Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible for UK security clearances. Applications from individuals requiring visa sponsorship will not be considered.

Permanent Afternoon Shift (start and finish times flexible).
