The role of Procurement Manager

Deliver the annual framework plan, including new frameworks and re-tenders.
Oversee the Central Data Team to improve service delivery and data standards.
Manage the Central Procurement Service to enhance procurement excellence and achieve revenue targets.
Lead technology development initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders for implementation.
Drive Procurement Transformation and Continuous Improvement strategies.
Maintain standard operating procedures and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Develop the Procurement Toolkit and manage professional development for procurement staff.
Stay updated on legal changes and implement necessary adjustments to procedures.
To be Successful in the role of Procurement Manager

Extensive procurement experience and knowledge of public procurement policies.
Relevant professional qualification (e.g., MCIPS) preferred.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Line management experience and a full driving license are required
