The School and Role:

Vision for Education is seeking a committed and dynamic Graduate Teacher to work at a range of Secondary schools across the Hastings area, with the possibility of transitioning to a long-term or permanent position at a single school. We are particularly interested in graduates who are aspiring to become teachers, as this role provides an excellent foundation for a career in education.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education when regular teachers are absent. You will oversee entire classes during short-term absences, ensuring students complete assigned work and fostering a positive and productive classroom atmosphere. This position offers a practical introduction to the teaching profession, allowing you to gain valuable experience and insight into the daily tasks and responsibilities of educators.

Requirements:

The desired Graduate Teacher will;

Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of educational professionals
Have a passion for working with young people
Be confident
Have a genuine interest in moving into teaching and a passion for working with young people
Degree level qualification
