Fire Alarm Installation Engineer

Gillingham

£35k-£40k per annum

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Installation Engineer to join our projects team in Gillingham. In this role, you will be responsible for installing advanced fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Install advanced fire alarm systems.
Complete electronic documentation, including worksheets, timesheets, and mileage/expense claims.
Adhere to all health and safety practices (training provided).
Ensure compliance with all engineering practices and report any issues to senior engineers or your line manager.
Notify your supervisor or the office of any delays or issues, such as traffic or vehicle problems, and take alternative transport when necessary.
Update site logbooks with detailed records of all work performed.
Maintain company-issued equipment in good working condition and promptly report any damage, theft, or loss to your Service Supervisor.
Uphold punctuality and maintain a tidy work environment at all times.
Perform duties in accordance with the Company employee handbook.
Communicate progress or concerns regarding any contracts or sites to your line manager via phone and follow up with regular email updates.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Represent the company professionally in issued work attire.
Participate in training to expand knowledge of various manufacturers' products.
Test completed circuits.
Interpret and adhere to CAD drawings.
Make informed decisions regarding cable routes.
Be prepared to work at heights (training provided).Skills and Competencies:

Excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers.
Proven experience in electrical installation.
Proficient in general IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
