Production Manager – Structural Steelwork

Location: Lanarkshire, Scotland

We are thrilled to be recruiting for a Production Manager on behalf of our client, a highly regarded and well-established structural steelwork fabrication business.

The Role:

As the Production Manager, you will:

* Plan and coordinate workloads as they move through the fabrication workshop.

* Review and interpret fabrication drawings before production begins.

* Liaise closely with the wider management team to manage and progress workloads, including handling any revisions or variations to drawings.

* Attend daily production meetings to ensure smooth operations.

* Maintain high standards of workshop housekeeping at all times.

* Monitor and audit tool costs, performance, and stock levels.

* Extensive experience and understanding of structural steelwork fabrication.

* Strong computer literacy skills.

* The ability to read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings.

* Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.

* A proven track record of managing and motivating teams in a production environment.
