We’re excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding European manufacturing powerhouse. They’re investing in a state-of-the-art facility and are on the lookout for a passionate Customer Service Specialist to join their expanding team. This is a chance to be the first boots on the ground in a company that are heavily investing in their site.
ROLE
Our client is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences, and as a Customer Service Specialist, you’ll be a key player in that mission. This isn’t just any customer service job; you’ll be at the heart of the order-to-cash process, serving as the main point of contact for customers and collaborating closely with internal teams. From handling enquiries and managing orders to resolving sales-related issues, you’ll be instrumental in driving customer satisfaction and supporting projected sales growth.
Responding to and actioning customer enquiries promptly and efficiently.
Processing sales orders in SAP and managing electronic orders (EDI).
Handling commercial agreements both on-invoice (prices and discounts) and off-invoice (services and bonuses).
Managing complaints related to sales orders and resolving issues directly where possible.
Overseeing credit and debit note management and addressing customer ledger complaints.
Settling off-invoice conditions and handling promotional invoices.
YOU
Customer Service Specialist who can engage with people at all levels of the organisation, is highly organised, and has a true knack for problem-solving. You should have previous experience in sales administration (hopefully from a manufacturing company) and a solid background in customer service. Familiarity with SAP is essential.
