Coatings & Welding Inspector – Cheshire
£35 per hour (outside IR35) + site-based + average 45hr working week + overtime + min 6 month contract (rolling) + immediate start
Coatings & Welding Inspector responsibilities include:
* Provide independent inspection and quality control services relating to Coatings & equipment in manufacture, fabrication, and construction.
* Provide detailed reports following inspections & quality control.
* Review of fabrication / manufacturing documentation within delegated authority levels in terms of quality plans, ITP’s fabrication / manufacturing procedures, welding procedures, NDE procedures, compilation, and review of LTQRs.
* Develop and maintain excellent relationships with both internal and external Customers.
Coatings & Welding Inspector profile:
* An experienced Engineer of min 5yrs with at least 2yrs experience in coatings inspections and the inspection of welded fabrications / manufactured equipment (NDT & material control)
* Sound understanding and qualification in Materials, Welding & NDE techniques
* CSWIP 3.1/3.2
* NACE / BGAS / ICORR (Coatings)
* Good working knowledge of UK requirements for Inspection in high hazard industry sectors including Nuclear, O&G etc
* Ability to work successfully in a team, providing technical guidance & support
