Quality & HSE Coordinator
We are recruiting for a Quality & HSE Coordinator to join our Herefordshire based client on a full time, permanent role. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the business to ensure the products and manufacturing processes are compliant to Quality and safety standards to meet specific industry and customer expectations.
What you can expect:
•Salary: £30k - £33k, depending on experience
•Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
•Discretionary bonus
•22 days plus bank holiday, increasing by 1 day after 5 years and a further day after 10 years

What you will be doing:
• Maintain quality and safety systems
• Verification of product compliance to relevant Internal and external standards
• Assist the business to continuously improve its manufacturing standards and compliance
• Verification of product compliance through regular product testing
• Conduct regular compliance reviews of standards, policies, and procedures
• Critique manufacturing data to ensure product compliance
• Provide advice and recommendations for improvements
• Provide support to the manufacturing team in incident investigations and risk assessments
• Create and review work instructions, Quality plans and safe systems of work
• Provide the business management with statistical data reports
• Work with the manufacturing team to promote and display a positive culture of Quality and HSE across the business
• Conduct daily communications with the manufacturing team providing a dashboard data analysis of compliance
What we are looking for:
•Prior SHEQ experience within a fast-paced factory environment, with specific focus on quality management
•IOSH Managing Safety is essential
•Experience in problem solving techniques
•NEBOSH general certification is advantageous
•Experience working and maintaining ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001
•Experience in quality management and systems
•Knowledge of lean six sigma and experience of 5s implementation
•Proficient in Microsoft office
•Previous experience in working within a continuous manufacturing environment
