Carmichaels are seeking a Design Manager to work on a major Tier 1 highways project in Norfolk.

You will be responsible for the development of scheme solutions throughout their life cycle e.g. pre-contract, pre-construction, delivery, and handover. 

The Design Manager will support the following Technical Integration Management functions.

Day to day running of technical management processes

Managing Design Deliverables in EMT

Managing designs with Temporary Works and Construction team

Support CDM hazard reviews

Programme monitoring

Buildability reviews

Monitoring design maturity through design phase

Implement Project change management process

Manage utilities diversion process

Attendance of Production call meetings

Design coordination in EMT for internal design reviews

Checking relevant design packs are issued
