Are you a passionate Marketeer specialising in all things PR and social media? We are recruiting on behalf of a North Leeds based Charity for a PR and Social Executive to join their growing team. Responsible for some of the region's largest and most prolific fundraising events and campaigns, you will collaborate with key figures across Yorkshire to amplify the charity's mission, responsible for driving key messaging, enhancing their visibility, and engaging with the community to support children across Yorkshire. Key Responsibilities of the PR and Social Executive:

Create compelling content, such as website, blog, and social media posts on trending news, charity events and campaigns, highlighting the initiatives and impact.
Attend events to capture photo, video, and interview content.
Build and maintain relationships with local press, PR agencies, and media outlets to maximise coverage of the charity's activities.
Collaborate with key charity sponsors and their internal Marketing teams for joint PR coverage.
Research and recruit influencers, celebrities, and key ambassadors to champion the charity's cause and increase reach and engagement.
Actively engage with the local community and groups, fostering strong local relationships.
Enhance the charity's social media presence by creating engaging content, managing posts, and interacting with followers.The Ideal PR and Social Executive Candidate:

We are open on experience, offering a salary range to reflect this. The salary offered within our range will be dependent on level and experience; we are open to Graduate candidates with a real lust for learning and passion for all things PR at the £24,000 level, however for those with more experience (ideally 18+ months) we are open to discussions up to £28,000 per annum.

We are looking for:

A relevant degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Media or similar.
An enthusiastic wordsmith with a flair for writing captivating content.
Excellent copywriting and proofreading ability.
Passion for storytelling and making a positive community impact.
Exposure to PR, content creation, and social media (we love seeing personal ventures within this too!).
Creative and able to think outside the box.
A strong work ethic able to recognise the positive impact of your work in helping children and the community.
