TeacherActive is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join our team and work across a range of educational settings in Essex. We have opportunities available on a part-time, full-time, and permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and group support to students in an educational setting.

Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and engaging students in learning activities.

Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in achieving their full potential.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff to enhance student learning.

Requirements:

Previous experience working 1:1 and in group settings.

Experience supporting children with SEN is highly desirable.

If no experience, relevant qualifications in education or child development will be considered.

A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
