Well established local accountancy which has developed a great network of clients for the past twenty years. It is a very busy working environment with beautiful offices and great on-site amenities. The company has a loyal client base which is a combination of different industries including; transport, computing, retail and property. They also provide audit services to multiple charities and solicitors.

Duties/ Requirements:

Supporting a varied general practice portfolio across accounts, Tax, VAT, payroll, and bookkeeping, working with various portfolio of clients.
Preparation and submission of statutory accounts under FRS102 and FRS105.
Preparation of self-assessment returns.
Bookkeeping and submissions for VAT clients.
Bookkeeping for client accounts up to trial balance.
Knowledge of Xero and quickbooks.
Assisting with payroll processing.
Help contribute towards numerous audits being requested to complete on behalf of clients within strict deadlines
Preparation of tax computations and assisting senior staff members with HMRC queries on behalf of clients, proactively handling enquiries.
Working directly with clients, building strong rapport and problem-solving.
Leading record management, ensuring we have all relevant and accurate information.
Able to communicate with offshore accounting staff members.
Working closely with senior team members to ensure expectations and deadlines are met.
