The Delivery Lead will drive the successful execution of large-scale transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across the higher education institution. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end delivery of high-impact projects, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, streamlining processes, and implementing scalable improvements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in process improvement and managing transformation projects, preferably within the higher education or similar sector, demonstrating expertise in change management, project management, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Delivery
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large transformation and continuous improvement projects from inception to completion.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and strategic objectives.
Manage and mitigate risks associated with project delivery, addressing potential challenges proactively.
Process Improvement & Optimization
Identify, assess, and implement process improvements across functional areas, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
Analyze current processes and workflows, recommending efficiencies to reduce costs, improve service quality, and enhance operational performance.
Establish metrics to monitor process improvements and ensure sustainable, measurable outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
Act as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including faculty, administrative staff, leadership, and external partners.
Engage and influence stakeholders across various departments to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Develop and execute change management plans to drive adoption, including communication, training, and support initiatives.
Continuous Improvement & Transformation Strategy
Collaborate with leadership to define and prioritize strategic improvement initiatives.
Provide insights and recommendations on process optimization, digital transformation, and best practices within the higher education sector.
Establish frameworks and processes to ensure ongoing continuous improvement beyond project completion.
project reviews and post-implementation evaluations to measure impact and document lessons learned.
Qualifications & Skills:
Essential:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or related field.
5+ years of experience leading large transformation projects, ideally in the higher education or public sector.
Demonstrated expertise in process improvement, including Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
Proven experience in change management, with strong skills in stakeholder engagement and communication.
Excellent project management skills, including proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
Analytical mindset, with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
Desirable:
Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
Certifications in PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Change Management.
Familiarity with higher education regulatory and operational landscape.
Experience in digital transformation or ERP system implementation
