CNC Manual Machinist

We are looking for skilled Manual Machinists to join our team, machining centrifugally spun castings for the Aerospace and Power Generation industries. While time-served experience is preferred, it is not essential. You will be working with a variety of stainless alloys, ensuring precision and high-quality machining.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine large castings to precise specifications and tolerances.
Operate manual machines, including lathes and vertical borers.
Meet production deadlines efficiently without compromising on quality.
Conduct visual inspections of machined castings to ensure accuracy.
Properly label swarf drums for correct alloy identification.
Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team with minimal supervision.
Adhere to safety standards and company procedures at all times.

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 years of machining experience in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings for precise component production.
Skilled in working to tight tolerances and using measuring equipment accurately.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.
Capable of working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines.
Self-motivated with a team-oriented mindset.
Flexible approach to work, including overtime and shift work when required.
Solid understanding of health & safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control processes.
