The HireWorks are recruiting for a Reliability Engineer to work for a great company based in Stevenage.

They’re looking for someone who has previous experience working in a similar role and has good knowledge of complex electronic systems.

Typical duties would include:

* Delivering reliability cases for products and supporting information to customers.

* Analysing product designs to make a case for the products reliability

* Ensure optimal reliability assurance efforts are committed to deliver a lean and effective reliability program.

* Understanding internal systems and its operating context to mitigate reliability risks.

The successful candidate:

* Good knowledge of complex electronic systems and the associated reliability issues (but other engineering subject areas may be considered for candidates with the right strengths in other areas).

* Experience of more recent reliability prediction methodologies, such as FIDES, would be an advantage.

* Demonstrable knowledge of the relationship between the reliability life-cycle and the system engineering processes.

* Good verbal, written communications analytical and problem solving skills.

It would be beneficial but isn’t essential if the successful candidate had a background within the defence sector.
