Role Description

This is a full-time role as an Account Technician/Account Handler, located in City of London, with flexibility for remote work. The individual in question would be working in a UK Retail environment and experience in that sector is essential.

As an Account Technicians/Handler, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with the technical side of an insurance placement. Your tasks would include but not be limited to:

* Putting insurance market presentations together

* Working closely with the Head of Broking to present risks to the insurance market

* Accurate information processing and record keeping

* Preparation of new records on the CRM system and maintaining existing records

* Preparation of Quotations

* Preparation of Pre-renewal and renewal reports to present to clients

* Assisting in the preparation of various templates

* Updating various, shared, Excel spreadsheets including Word documents

* Working within FCA guidelines

* Assist with day-to-day MTA’s / adjustments

* Checking of policy documents

* Logging and assisting with Claims enquiries

* Keeping up to date with standard clauses/endorsement changes and/or additions

Qualifications

* Prior experience as an Account Technician/Account Handler dealing with UK retail business is essential

* Strong knowledge of insurance products, markets, and regulatory environment

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

* Being proactive and using one’s initiative is paramount for this role

* Have a positive outlook, be engaging, collaborative and have the resilience to adapt to whatever changes come your way sometimes having to work on your own initiative

* Effective communication and negotiation abilities

* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

* A willingness to learn and be curious

* Proficiency in relevant software and technology platforms

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide exceptional service and support to our clients
