Job Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically skilled Internal Sales Engineer to join our team in the field of Gas Analysis and Emission Monitoring. The successful candidate will support the sales team by providing technical advice, preparing quotations, and assisting in the implementation of solutions for clients in various industries, including environmental monitoring, industrial processes, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical expertise and assistance to customers and sales teams regarding gas analysis and emission monitoring solutions.
* Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable products and systems.
* Prepare detailed technical proposals, quotations, and presentations to meet client needs.
* Stay updated with the latest trends and technological advancements in the field.
* Develop strong relationships with clients, acting as a technical point of contact for inquiries.
* Work closely with the sales and technical teams to ensure that customer needs are met promptly and accurately.
* Collaborate with engineers and external partners to support system installations and commissioning.
* Analyze market trends and competitor products to provide valuable insights and inform sales strategies.
* Manage internal sales orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
* Ensure proper tracking of sales leads and ensure follow-ups are conducted.
* Provide internal training and product demonstrations to customers and sales teams.
* Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues when needed.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
* Knowledge of gas analysis, emission monitoring, and related instrumentation, including continuous emissions monitoring systems (CEMS), gas analyzers, and air quality monitoring systems.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical information clearly and effectively.
* Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients at various technical levels.
* Previous experience in a technical sales or engineering support role is advantageous, preferably within the gas analysis, environmental, or industrial sectors.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to solve technical problems and offer solutions in a timely manner.
* Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
Desirable Attributes:
* Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel for site visits or customer engagements (if required)
