We are recruiting an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer for our client in Bury St Edmunds.
Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:
Execute scheduled maintenance tasks on all machinery on site.
Address reactive maintenance promptly to reduce downtime.
Perform electrical fault finding and testing.
Work closely with the production team to maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Keep high standards in all work areas.Experience needed for the Maintenance Engineer position:
A multi-skilled engineer with a focus on electrical systems.
Experience in a proactive engineering role within a maintenance environment.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition, City and Guilds 2360/2330, 2382).
Familiarity with electrical energy technology, PLC, and SCADA systems.
Welding and fabrication experience.
Background in using CMMS systems.
Counter-balance FLT license.
Proficiency in Word and Excel.
Willingness to work as part of a team, including shifts and on-call duties.Shift:
