Salisbury – Buyer – Salary upto £30k – Manufacturing

My client are leaders in manufacturing and are innovators in the industry. The company are increasingly growing to meet the advancing demands of product development and are looking for a Buyer.

Main Duties:

* Order Management: Efficiently order and schedule parts driven by the MRP system.

* MRP Accuracy: Ensure the MRP system accurately reflects stock dates, locations, and quantities.

* Supplier Coordination: Place purchase orders with suppliers and monitor their progress.

* Shipping Arrangements: Coordinate the timely shipping of components to meet supplier demands.

* Problem Solving: Locate hard-to-find parts within the supply chain.

* Supplier Negotiations: Assist in negotiations with suppliers to optimize costs and terms.

* Forecast Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team to produce and communicate order forecasts to our suppliers

Key Skills and Experience:

* Previous experience within a Buyer/Purchaser type role

* Experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment

The salary for the position is upto £30k depending on experience.
