Are you a Secondary Information Technology Teacher who wants to inspire the next generation in computing and technology? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you in Newcastle.
As an IT Teacher, you will be responsible for covering the IT curriculum across key stages 3 and 4. If you are able to teach key stage 5 this would be desirable. This role would be ideal for any secondary teachers with QTS who have strong knowledge of IT and/or computing and would be confident teaching the subject up to GCSE as a minimum requirement.
THE ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Deliver high-quality teaching across key stages 3 to 4 (KS5 desirable).
Plan and deliver lessons.
Manage challenging classroom behaviour and set lesson expectations.
Collaborate with head of department to enhance the curriculum and learning.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
QTS in the subject or relevant field.
Relevant qualifications and experience as a secondary teacher.
Proven ability to manage a classroom and behaviour.
A passion for education and a commitment to student development.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Adherence to safeguarding policies and procedures.This position will start as a temporary ongoing role but has the possibility of becoming permanent for the right person.
