As a Customer Service & Sales Executive you will be part of a full-service team, working with both buyers and sellers of businesses and franchises. You will be providing a high level of customer service to new and existing clients while also proactively generating sales through renewals, incoming enquires and new business generating.

You will report to the Commercial Manager and also have day-to-day contact with your team members. You will help support and manage client relationships, confirming sales, pro-actively helping and enhancing user experience, closely monitoring results in order to feed back to your line manager and help identify actions that could improve the user journey and impact revenue targets.

You will help private sellers list their business on the platform and also support them through their journey of selling their business on Daltons.

You will also work with Business Agents and Franchise brands in setting them up on our platform, answering queries, monitoring client results and implementing necessary actions to support performance as well as generating sales from these areas through business contract renewals and new enquiries and new business leads.

Key responsibilities:

* To establish and maintain contact with client base, managing calls and emails.

* Delivering a comprehensive level of customer service to clients, being the first point of contact for enquiries and

* support, where appropriate filtering to wider team if needed.

* Monitoring client advertising enquiry levels, identifying areas that may require support and helping deliver.

* Provide marketing services to clients e.g. scheduling/creating/monitoring social media posts.

* Build sustainable relationships with sellers, business agents and franchisors to support ongoing repeat business.

* Keeping a thorough record of interaction/communication with clients within the CRM system.

* Represent the company as needed at various industry Events & Exhibitions.

* Updating the Daltons website as needed.

* Provide ad hoc reports internally on private sellers, agents and franchisors and externally to clients where

* permissible on advertising results.

* Sales activity with private business sellers, business agents and franchisors; and will include (but not limited to)

* a mix of incoming enquiries, bookings started online but not completed, client renewals and expiries as well as

* new business sales.

* Helping resolve client account queries.

* To carry out any other ad hoc duties as may be required from time to time.

Skills and experience:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident talking to clients.

* Experience of working in a customer service and/or sales role.

* A good problem solver.

* Organised with good administrative skills.

* Can prioritise and multi-task.

* Computer literate (including Word and Excel) and comfortable learning new systems.

* Team player

This exciting position is a full-time hybrid role. 2 days in the office, 3 days from home. This could change over time depending on business needs.
