Noodle Talent Partners are supporting a leading Engineering business during a period of growth, recruiting for the position of Area Sales Manager to join the team on a permanent basis, covering the Midlands or North (remote, field-based role).
In this field-based position, you will take a proactive approach in identifying and building relationships with new clients to drive sales activity, through a combination of client meetings, business development calls and drop ins.
In addition, nurturing existing client relationships to ensure repeat business and exceptional service levels, utilising marketing material to promote the company’s services and maintain a strong position in the market.
The majority of your time will be spent out on the road, with a small portion of time for your administration and ‘office work’ which can be done at home.
You will be required to travel to the Norwich office (head quarters) for monthly sales meetings, to actively participate in the strategy, taking initiative to explore & contribute new ideas, and build relationships within the team.
We are looking for a driven and personable Sales professional with at least 3-5 years’ experience generating new business for Engineering/Manufacturing services, along with strong relationship management skills, and industry knowledge.
