We're looking for a reliable Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our client’s team in Bellshill in the Food Distribution sector.This is a temp to perm opportunity where you’ll be delivering goods to customers as part of a multi-drop route, who run a mix of manual and automatic vehicles, so you'll need a license that covers both!

5-day shift pattern, Monday to Saturday, with a rotating Saturday shift

6:00 am start averaging 9 to 10 hours per day.

Rate: £15 per hour (Mon-Fri)
Saturday Rate: £18 per hour

What You'll Be Doing:

* Driving Class 2 vehicles (manual & automatic) to make deliveries.

* Unloading goods at customer premises which may involve stairs and some lifting

* Making around 15-20 drops a day, depending on your route.

* Using a PDA with pre-loaded delivery details, alongside paper documents.

* Providing friendly and professional service to customers.

* Following road safety and food safety guidelines.

Training:

* 3 days of training in the depot prior to start date.

* 1 week on the road with an experienced driver.

* Ongoing support as you settle into the role.

What We're Looking For:

* Valid Class 2 (Category C) license for manual & automatic vehicles.

* Over 25 (insurance requirement).

* Experience preferred, but training can be provided for the right person

* Physically fit and okay with manual work.

* Good with rules and road safety.

* Friendly and confident with customers.

Insurance Requirements:

* Must be over 25

* No DD, DR or CD on licence
