As a Specialty Doctor, you will collaborate closely with a team of Consultant Psychiatrists, fellow Specialty Doctors, and a skilled Multi-Disciplinary Team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to expand your clinical knowledge and experience, working alongside seasoned consultants and clinicians. Our team values a multidisciplinary approach, allowing you to engage in diverse clinical practices beyond the typical NHS scope.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the management of patient admissions and discharges.
Provide day-to-day management of patients on the ward, including conducting risk assessments, coordinating with the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), performing outcome measurements, and reviewing physical health.
Conduct prompt mental health assessments, and generate detailed reports and clinical summaries. Proficiency in ICT is essential for using our electronic records system (Carenotes) and producing reports.
Participate actively in audits, research initiatives, quality and performance management, and other relevant clinical and professional activities.Requirements:

A medical degree (MB ChB or equivalent).
Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage a busy workload.
