PSR Solutions are working with a market leading client within the Civil Engineering Sector to recruit a Assistant Quantity Surveyor to Join their Commercial team on a permanent basis. This role with be based in Cambridgeshire and will involve working within Residential groundworks Projects.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Roles and Responsibilities

Assisting Surveyors to perform the closeout process, ensuring all contract terms are met and payments are verified.
Work with the project team to evaluate the impact of budget changes.
Ensuring all commercial accountabilities are undertaken in a timely manner, with a high degree of accuracy and measure.
Assisting Surveyors in preparing and reviewing tenders with estimators and assisting with understanding the client's requirements to offer value engineering.
Review and validate weekly cost monitors, comparing forecasted costs with actual costs.
Undertake site visits to administer the contract in line with project progress.Assistant Quantity Surveyor Requirements

BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar commercial related course
Highly computer literate including Microsoft Office and confident in managing and working with large data sets
Residential Groundworks background Ideally
Professional membership of appropriate body
Good data interrogation skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Salary - Circa £35,000 DOE
Based in Cambridgeshire
