Tradewind are searching for experienced Teaching Assistants based in the Roachdale area! We are looking for a general TA who can work proactively in a Year 1 classroom.

Where: Heywood, Rochdale

Shift Pattern: September 2024, full-time

Class: Year 1

Year 1 Teaching Assistant

The successful TA will be responsible for the progress and attainment of a high achieving Year 1 class.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Assisting teachers in lesson delivery, classroom management, and fostering a positive learning environment
Providing individualised support to pupils facing learning challenges to ensure comprehension of the curriculum
Aiding in the preparation of teaching materials and organising resources for lessons
Establishing positive relationships with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect
Collaborating effectively with the key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources, and best practices
Essential Requirements:

-QTS (Or an equivalent teaching qualification)

-Excellent references to support previous experience

-A CV that covers full employment history

-The right to work in the UK
