We are currently seeking an experienced cook based in Croydon to assist in a Children's Home

Position: Cook
Location: CR0, Croydon
Salary: £13.50
Job Type: Temp
Shifts : Fridays and Saturdays

Requirements:

Child/Adult DBS on Update Service.
UK Passport/Right to Work (skilled worker VISA's need not apply)
5 Years of professional references (of which 1 year must be cooking)
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Minimum Level 2), Food Temperature Controls, and have knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety Awareness.Responsibilities (Hospitality and Catering):

Plan, prepare, and cook a variety of meals that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of residents.
Ensure meals are well-balanced, flavorful, and visually appealing.
Develop and update weekly or monthly menus that incorporate residents' dietary requirements, preferences, and special health conditions, in collaboration with dietitians or nutritionists.
Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene standards.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and preparation of food to prevent contamination and food borne illnessesBenefits:
