They are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Site Manager with a strong focus on health and safety to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
As a Construction Site Manager with Health and Safety Duties, you will oversee all aspects of their construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will be responsible for managing on-site activities, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Site Management Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage day-to-day operations on the construction site.
* Oversee and implement Quality Assurance processes on site.
* Ability to undertake short term programming and planning.
* Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
* Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
* Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
* Provide leadership and support to on-site staff and contractors.
* Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on the site.
Health and Safety Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement health and safety plans, policies, and procedures.
* Conduct regular health and safety audits and inspections.
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Ensure all workers receive proper health and safety training and induction.
* Investigate and report on incidents and accidents, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
* Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement on the site.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager or Health and Safety Manager with a strong background in health and safety or Site Management.
* Relevant qualifications in construction management and health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
