Site Manager – Regional Contractor

Location: Exeter

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits

About the Role:

Our client, a reputable regional contractor, is looking to expand its operational team by hiring an experienced Site Manager. Specialising in healthcare, education, and commercial builds, the company delivers high-quality design and build projects, typically valued up to £8 million.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to lead and deliver projects across the South West while working for a company with a strong pipeline of work and an excellent reputation in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the daily site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

* Manage subcontractors and site personnel efficiently.

* Ensure all health and safety regulations are met, maintaining a safe working environment.

* Work closely with the project team, clients, and stakeholders.

* Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with building regulations.

* Attend and lead site meetings, providing progress updates.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Site Manager in a similar role, ideally with a regional contractor.

* Strong background in healthcare, education, or commercial projects up to £8 million.

* Experience in design and build contracts.

* Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work (FAW) certifications.

* Excellent leadership and communication skills.

* A track record of stability and longevity within previous roles.
