The Job You’ll Do;

* Conducting market research to identify potential customers, market trends and competitors alongside analysing data to determine market demand, customer needs and potential growth opportunities.

* Staying updated on industry news, regulations, and advancements.

* Prospecting and contacting potential and existing customers.

* Following up on leads generated through various channels such as trade shows, referrals, and marketing campaigns.

* Building and nurturing relationships with new and existing customers through regular communication, meetings, and site visits.

* Collaborating with the sales team to develop tailored proposals and solutions for customers.

* Creating presentations and conducting product demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and capabilities of company products.

* Negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with customers to secure new business opportunities.

* Managing the sales pipeline by tracking leads, opportunities and sales activities using bespoke software, monitoring progress against sales targets and objectives, adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed goals.

* Forecasting sales projections and preparing regular reports for management review.

About You;

* Ideally from a technical sales background relating to engineering or heavy industry.

* Results-oriented with a strong drive for success.

* Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

* Proactive and self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills.

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commission-based sales role.

* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

* Ability to analyse data and make informed business decisions.

* Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Full, clean driving licence
