Our client based in Doncaster is looking for a experienced Lead Engineer. You will have the overall responsibility for leading the maintenance team to maintain and repair all equipment.

This role is working Monday - Friday Days with £50,000 - £60,000 per year

The Role:

* Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of production process, equipment and technology

* Technical support and troubleshooting of production issues

* Manage the design, specification and ordering of equipment, liaising with technical staff

* Lead ongoing and new projects

* Maintain and build working relationships

* Monitor the status of projects to the management team

* Continuous improvements of manufacturing processes

* Provide hands on engineering support to the maintenance team

The Candidate:

* A relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND Degree)

* Experience within medium to heavy manufacturing in a Manufacturing environment

* Experience in a lead / supervisory role

* Understand Health and Safety procedures

* Strong IT skills, working knowledge of MS Office suite

* Logical thinker

* Organisational skills (priortise and work under pressure)
