Berry Recruitment are seeking a Mechanical and Electrical Technician to join a busy team in a permanent role,

After site-specific training, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimising production equipment. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, with formal electrical qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily operational checks and support production with equipment setup.
Diagnose and repair breakdowns, implementing preventative solutions.
Conduct planned maintenance.
Oversee contractors to ensure quality standards.
Participate in required training and provide out-of-hours support when needed.

Requirements

Experience or apprenticeship trained engineer
Qualifications within engineering
Strong knowledge within engineering and safe working practices.
Mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week + overtime at an enhanced rate
Shifts: Rotating early and late shifts weekly - Earlys 6am-16:00 (4 days a week) Lates-14:00-22:00 (Monday-Friday)
Salary: Up to £48,500 per annum
