A hands-on Regional Sales Director role, responsible for the coaching, management and development of a team of 6 Area Sales Managers across the North of England and Scotland
Package: Basic salary dependent on experience, with £15k+ bonus scheme, executive hybrid car, pension & healthcare
Territory: Birmingham to and including Scotland
Products: Roof windows, rooflights and roofing accessories
Customers: National and independent building, roofing and timber merchants, regional house builder, local developers and contractors
The Role – Regional Sales Director:
* A hands-on regional sales manager role, managing and developing a team of 6 Area Sales Managers
* Field based leading from the front, managing team performance, mentoring and motivating
* Looking at the strategic growth of the region and the setting goals and objectives
* Helping manage and develop your regions key accounts, and identify growth opportunities
* You will also play at active part in entertaining the regions key accounts
The Team:
* Selling an award-winning range of roof windows and rooflights
* 40% managing & developing the relationship with national and independent merchants
* 60% creating demand & winning business with regional house builders, local developers, contractors and installers
* All business they win will be back-sold through their merchants
The Successful Applicant – Regional Sales Director:
* Most importantly you will have experience of managing and leading a field sales team, and be someone that leads from the front to influence your teams performance.
* This experience would ideally have been gained from within the construction, KBB or interiors industry, although not essential
* You'll be as comfortable managing a sales team, as you are in front of customers helping manage and develop key accounts
* Whilst possessing emotional intelligence, effective communication skills and a passion for sales and sales management
